Double Gong for Mobile Pie

Mobile Pie had a great night at the Gala Dinner presentation of the prestigious Media Innovation Awards. We had been nominated for an award in the 'Mobile Communications' category for our camera-based game Snap Happy and so donned our smartest suits and headed down for what turned out to be a very eventful night...

We didn't expect to win but soon we found ourselves under the spotlight, on stage, after picking up the trophy and with no speech prepared for the South West media industry that was staring at us...crikey!

We managed get of the stage without too much embarrassment, and get own with our drinks, feeling pleased with ourselves. However the even huger surprise of the night was that we went on to pick up the MIA trophy, given to the most exceptional project from all the evening's winners!

We have to say that winning these trophies was an absolute honour and a big thanks to the organisers at Plymouth Media Partnership and the judges for recognising "the innovative use of phone features in a game and its user-friendly interace".

Needless to say we celebrated late into the night. We'll definitely be back next year..!
