Case Studies
Of course, we could be making it all up! Here the case studies that prove otherwise. There's a mixture of projects below that show you the kind of things we've done so far. It's a journey that we've enjoyed immensely, and we're only just getting started!
We hope you will find it to your liking.
Moosehunt
As part of 2008's igfest (Interesting Games Festival), we helped develop one of the more technological games, Moose Hunt by Simon Games. It involved tracking down a moose migrating through Forest of Dean to the festival in Bristol.
Shoutbox!
Working with Futurelab, we are currently involved in an educational tool for young people's mobile phones. It allows them to capture content which represents their informal learning outside of school and showcase it to peers.
Tap 'n' Slide!
Tap 'n' Slide! is our first release onto the iPhone App Store (Apple's distribution mechanism for applications) It's a bright and cheerful casual arcade-style game which tests reactions and concentration under time pressure.
Chedworth Roman Villa and Banqueting House
Interactive Places specialise in creating tours for heritage sites which run on mobile devices. We developed two such tours for them using Hewlett Packard's mScape technology.
On The Go!
Partnering with Common Sense Media, creators of Suit Yourself Magazine, we produced a mobile application which provides live and up to date listings information for Bristol's clubs, cinemas, theatres, and more.
